Experience the exciting vastness of the Eastern Kalahari where our privately owned comfortable base camp is situated near the Southern Botswana border in the North West Province of South Africa.
Our experienced professional hunters, trackers and camp staff will ensure that your safari, in this Malaria free, game rich Kalahari savannah bushveld, will be the most thrilling experience you’ve ever had.
Plains game hunting on our own 25 000 acres and on surrounding areas of 80 000 acres, where Molopo Kalahari Safaris have hunting rights, provides some of the best trophy quality to be found in South Africa.
Rifle and bow hunting are available throughout the year. Choose from our safari options, with attractive game hunting packages for plains game and/or the Big 5, or customize a safari to suit your needs.
Rudolf Graupner, CEO of Molopo Kalahari Safaris, has hunted the African bush since childhood. He qualified as a Professional Hunter / Outfitter more than 10 years ago, after he graduated from university. He is also a full member of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA). His father, Erich, has graduated in Wildlife Management and has hunted and studied African animals for more than 30 years, and therefore has extensive knowledge and experience of these animals. With this combined knowledge and experience together with warm hospitality, they offer you their services and friendship and the opportunity to become part of an African hunting family.
Activities and Tours
- Go on a Photographic Safari to Pilanesberg Big Five Game Reserve with the highest concentration of White and Black Rhino in the world.
- Activities at Pilanesberg and the famous Lost City range from hot air balloon rides, Elephant rides, guided game drives (also night drives) to gambling at the casino.
- See and photograph the endangered Cheetah on guided trips at Omega wildlife ranch.
- For a person with a special interest in photography we offer a guided photographic safari package with the most popular photographic sites in our hunting areas.
- African Craft buying at Hartebeestpoort dam or at a wholesale craft and curio shop.
